I have to fly soon

Fast approaching is my date with international air travel. I'm going over the other side of the world to check up on my mum and dad for 10 days.  Recent news events are not helping my nerves. I am not a great traveller. I like to stay home. Deep breath.  Wish our airport had some of these guys helping out.

HT A holy experience

But weren't they coming home? Didn't you just buy them a house?

@Meredith: Yeah, we have their new house already. Here's the deal: Dad lectures at a theological college. They will retire and come home at the end of the semester (they follow the northern academic year). Which means they'll be back in town in May. We weren't going to bother looking for a house till then but one that they had already been interested in came on the market last September so they had me go and look at it. It wasn't suitable but that led to other house-hunting and before you knew it we'd found the right one and bought it. So we are putting in some babysitters until they get home. At the time, I thought, "This is kind of silly - buying so early" but then I got full time work next year and I realised God's timing was perfect. I wouldn't have had the time to do all the intensive house hunting and paperwork in the middle of the busy part of the year when they return in 2015.
