Picaken

You might think you are looking at a photo of a cake.  You are wrong.

Usually, I deal with stress in less-than-helpful ways.  I sigh a lot.  And moan.  And am difficult to live with.  Yesterday, instead, I baked something.  It's a picaken.

In short, I bought a pie and baked it into the middle of a cake.  Yes.  Yes, I did.

So how did it taste? Was it worth it?

Can a turducken be far behind?

Delicious. And everyone ate their veggies without complaining beforehand. However, it didn't really solve much of my stress. I think I might make it for the next church lunch we've have though. Just for the fun of it.

Yep. I hear you. But I don't like duck much. So I'm thinking just turken. If I wrap the turkey in bacon could it be a bacurken?

"church lunch we have" not "we've"

Yes, well, that's an interesting stress management technique.

I think it would be nice to get someone else to cut it up, just to catch the surprise factor :)

The other part of the stress-management technique was the fact that I ate a great deal of it. Still didn't help.
