Thank God it's Friday.

I know that “Thank God it’s Friday’ is usually said in absence of any kind of thankfulness towards the Almighty, but I’d like to do my bit to remedy that.

Today  I’m thankful for our excellent heater and warmth when the weather turns nasty.

You got anything you’re thankful for today?  Join in! Let’s count our blessings for a bit.

I'm very thankful for the take away coffee I'm about to drink

My (absent) husband. He made the two big kids sandwiches for their lunches before he left at 5am to fly to Sydney.
Books.
And an offer of some more work. Not too much, but just enough to keep the finances ticking over.

Chicken and corn chowder on the stove. Cooking it was the last thing I felt like doing, but now it smells so good...

Healthy family, and a reminder that my life is pretty cruisy compared with what so many people need to cope with. http://www.desiringgod.org/blog/posts/the-story-of-ian-larissa

I'm thankful that we have water. The water pump that supplies water to our town is damaged at the moment, but my husband managed find a water truck today and had our tanks filled after being almost empty for 2 days.
